Jesus invites everyone to follow Him. The Bible gives a picture of Jesus standing at the door of our lives and knocking. The reason? He wants us to let Him in and acknowledge Him as Lord and Savior. When Jesus came and walked on the earth, He revealed God's plan for us. It is a plan of Salvation. Jesus died on the cross as a substitute for us. We do not have to pay a price for our sinfulness. Jesus has already paid the price.What He asks from us is to believe. Believe that Jesus is who He has claimed to be. God's plan does not end with our forgiveness. Also, It is a plan of purpose. When our sins are forgiven we are free to live in response to God's love. That means we are free to love God without the barrier of sinfulness. We are free to love others and serve others. Our sinfulness has a way of keeping us wrapped up in selfishness. The love of God reveals a better way of life. We are able to participate in His glorious mission. We are free to worship God and make Him known. At Heritage Fellowship that is our mission. We want to love God, love others and serve together. The truth is that God loves us more than we can imagine or describe. God wants everyone, everywhere to let Him in and make Him known and at Heritage Fellowship we enjoy begin a part of His mission.
